About the Assets Database: What's Included and What's Coming

This article explains what is available today and how we plan to expand our Assets database over time.

Our approach: quality over volume

You may notice that the initial database does not cover every operational asset in the region. That is by design. We chose to start with a curated, high-quality set rather than a large but unreliable one.

Every asset in the database has been reviewed and validated by our industry analysts. As we expand, we will maintain that same standard. We would rather give you 600 assets you can trust than thousands you have to double-check.

What is included at launch

We are launching with a curated set of around 600 operational assets across Latin America. We selected these initial assets based on their relevance and economic significance in the region. Every record has been verified by our industry experts before publication.

For each asset, you will find:

  • Asset name, description and location

  • Owner/Operator and or Concessionaire

  • Sector and type

  • Installed capacity

  • Start date of Operation

  • Links to related company profiles and project records on the platform

  • At least one current, validated contact, such as:

    • General Manager

    • Operations Manager

    • Purchasing / Logistics Manager

    • Maintenance Manager

How we plan to grow the database

Our team of Industry Expert researchers is actively working to expand the Assets database every day. Here is what you can expect, and when.

More assets: adding breadth

We will be adding new assets on a continuous basis, expanding coverage across countries and sectors. Our goal is to grow well beyond the initial set while maintaining the same standard of data quality and verification.

  1. Phase one will look to add another 600 assets, mostly related our Project Database. These assets will all maintain the same high standards of accuracy and we will validate all data points before we add the assets to our database.

  2. Phase 2 will start adding coverage beyond our Projects Database, adding operating assets in the region even if they were never part of our Project coverage.

Additional data points: adding depth

The launch version covers the core attributes listed above, but we are already working on enriching asset profiles with additional data points, including:

  • Scheduled maintenance windows

  • Key equipment and technology installed

  • Additional companies involved in the asset (beyond owner and operator), such as contractors, service providers, and suppliers

  • Operational performance indicators where available
